The Beach

One sunny afternoon I went to the sandy beach. The breeze brushed my face as I stepped on the
soft delicate sand. I heard the sound of happy playful children bouncing around in the wet sea. Okay,
maybe not all children. “That ice creams the wrong colour!” screamed the outraged child. “I wanted
white vanilla, not sour strawberry”!

I dipped my shivering toe into the frosty sea. The smooth kelp brushed my frozen feet as I entered
the frosty sea. I ran across the raging waves as I stomped through the water. I hopped into the car
and drove off.
